We believe and have said so many times, SACRED HEART IS A FAMILY. It is important for us to remember that as family, we all– students, parents, guardians, teachers and priests--share in the responsibility of providing for the religious formation, the physical well being and the academic growth of each member of our student body. It is that partnership that allows us to grow in love and mutual respect for one another and to bring Christian values to our community. The Sacred Heart Handbook identifies the responsibilities parents, guardians and students must accept in order for the faculty, priests and administration of Sacred Heart to provide for the needs of the children entrusted to our care. Parents are asked to read this handbook with their children and discuss with them those sections relating directly to their daily lives at Sacred Heart.
The beginning of each new school year is filled with such hope and promise. Students, parents, teachers and priests look forward to an exciting year filled with prayer, learning and friendship. We thank you for your cooperation and support, and hope you have a wonderful year at Sacred Heart School.
Mrs. Theresa Rothstein
Rooted in the Vincentian spirit, the Sacred Heart Catholic School community partners with its families to provide strong academic, spiritual, and moral foundations. Nurtured in a safe and caring environment, all are called to be faithful stewards leading with a heart of service and charity.
At Sacred Heart Catholic School, we are committed to giving our students a firm academic and spiritual foundation rooted in Catholic moral and religious values. We acknowledge parents as the primary educators of their children. In partnership with them and in a faith-filled environment, we foster a deepening of our students' spiritual development, and assist them in their pursuit of academic excellence and success. Dedicated and talented teachers and staff model life-long learning by providing a well-rounded and stimulating curriculum. We value our role in preparing our students to live their faith as citizens in service to the world.
