  • Holy Week Play

Our Catholicity is expressed around campus through:

  • Stepping stone rosary

  • prayer garden

  • Murals

Reconciliation

The essential elements of Reconciliation are the acts of the penitent who comes to repentance through the action of the Holy Spirit, and the absolution of the priest who in the name of Christ grants forgiveness and determines the ways of making satisfaction

First Holy Communion

Our 2nd graders are prepared by developing a deep relationship with Jesus.  Before receiving him in the Blessed Sacrament, we seek to make him their best friend.

We bring Jesus to life in the eyes of our students with stories and activities that help them learn about his life and how he becomes the Eucharist.  Children also learn about parts of the Mass in an age appropriate way so that they develop an understanding of what is happening during the liturgy and how it leads to receiving the Body and Blood of Jesus.

Our goal is for students to love Jesus in their own simple and special way, so all are ready to receive him in the Holy Eucharist.

Confirmation

Our 8th graders celebrate Confirmation, which  "confirms", strengthens, and  perfects baptismal grace.  The laying on of hands is recognized as the origin of the sacrament and as a continuation of the grace imparted at Pentecost.  The forehead is anointed with sacred chrism followed by the laying on of the bishop's hands with the words, "Be sealed with the Gift of the Holy Spirit".
